Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling, portioning, and meal assembly as needed.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure proper hygiene, storage, and handling of ingredients.
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages or issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by communicating effectively with team members and supporting collaborative efforts.
- Assist during catering events or special functions by preparing ingredients or cleaning up after service.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques are a plus.
