Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring correct processing of sales transactions
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service with spirits knowledge, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring timely service in a fine dining setting
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests
Experience
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms is essential
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is required
- Demonstrated skills in upselling, guest relations, and providing exceptional customer service are highly valued
Pay: From $2.13 per hour
