Job Overview
Complete Quality is seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse General Manager to provide contract-based warehouse support services and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations within a dynamic supply chain environment. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity the ideal candidate will lead a team to optimize processes, ensure efficient inventory management, and coordinate transportation and logistics activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse and supply chain management systems, and a focus on continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution activities.
- Oversee transportation management systems, fleet management, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules.
- Manage procurement, purchasing, and materials management processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze supply chain analytics, and manage P&L responsibilities to ensure financial targets are met.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage freight operations including NVOCC services.
- Oversee production planning, demand planning, and inventory management using ERP systems such as AS400 or other warehouse management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Supervise warehouse staff including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of teamwork.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on logistics planning, transportation planning, and process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, freight forwarding, shipping & receiving processes.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, transportation management systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, demand planning, production planning, and fleet management.
- Supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop strategies that improve operational performance.
