Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while ensuring products are properly rotated and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when products need replenishment.
- Keep aisles, checkout areas, and workstations clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about store items and promotions.
- Handle cash, credit card, debit card, and other payment methods accurately.
- Verify age requirements for restricted products in accordance with company policies and local laws.
- Help unload deliveries and organize products in storage areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery store, retail, or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, customer-first attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Experience stocking merchandise, rotating inventory, or maintaining product displays is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred.
