Duties
- Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements efficiently to maintain vehicle performance
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks including brake inspections, battery checks, and light mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments
- Conduct vehicle alignments to ensure proper handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic automotive issues using diagnostic tools and report findings for further repair if needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and familiarity with automotive diagnostics
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment safely and effectively
- Experience with automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil changes and coolant flushes
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards vehicle owners’ needs
- Physical ability to lift heavy tires and equipment regularly; comfort with heavy lifting is essential
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures including alignment and minor mechanical repairs
