Clinical Physician (CP) provides direct patient care in conjunction with the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) staff to patients of the RHC. CP will provide quality care to patients of the clinic by performing appropriate history and physical, developing appropriate treatment plans and documents clearly within the electronic health record. The CP will counsel and educate patients and family members and schedule appropriate follow up. The Physician will treat patients in line with standards of care. CP will work in collaboration with RHC Medical Director, Clinic Manager and Advanced Practice Providers (APP). CP may function as a Supervising or Collaborating physician for clinic APPs. CP will participate in RHC staff meetings as well as KVHD medical staff activities. CP will maintain education requirements to maintain licensure as a physician in the state of California.
