Academy 360 is a Health and Wellness Public Charter School founded in 2012 in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver serving ECE-3 through 5th grade students. We believe our relationship with our students is the most powerful tool we have.

Primary Focus: The Mentor Teacher and PLC Coordinator (Professional Learning Communities) is committed to improving student achievement by building elementary and ECE teacher capacity through collaborative planning, data-informed instructional practices, and ongoing coaching cycles. This role also facilitates high-functioning elementary PLCs that are grounded in trust, reflective practice, and a shared commitment to equitable, rigorous instruction for all students. This position reports to the Principal.
These are the essential job functions of the Mentor Teacher & PLC Coordinator:
· Regular mentoring for teachers focused on Major Improvement Strategy success includes, but not limited to: instructional best practices, lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement;
· Observe classroom instruction (once a week in elementary, twice a month in ECE) for each teacher and provide actionable, evidence-based and timely feedback aligned to school-wide goals;
· Co-plan and model lessons, focusing on literacy, math, data-driven instruction, differentiation, and culturally responsive pedagogy;
· Design and lead coaching cycles aligned to teacher development needs and school priorities;
· Track coaching interactions, teacher progress, and instructional data to inform leadership decisions;
· Support teachers in interpreting formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional adjustments, including interventions;
· Facilitate data meetings during coaching cycles/PD and support the development of targeted intervention strategies;
· Consistently reinforce all schoolwide management systems to ensure a safe and productive learning environment;
· Together with the Principal, monitor and analyze student progress data to inform coaching and PLC agendas;
· Together with the Principal, co-develop and lead professional learning sessions aligned to teacher and school needs;
· Stay current on research-based instructional strategies and share knowledge with staff;
· Collaborate with the leadership team to align coaching and PLCs with school goals and initiatives;
· Communicates information between administration and teaching staff, related to needs, celebrations, and opportunities for growth;
· Maintain accurate records of coaching and PLC work to ensure transparency and progress monitoring;
· Conduct environment walk-throughs to support learners.

Our facility is a known placemaker in Montbello, co-locating with various community partners all serving our families and their students;
· Access multiple paid breaks through the year, including two months in summer, one week in November, two weeks in December/January and one week in March.
The ideal candidate will have:
● A Colorado teaching license or license in another state with the ability to apply in Colorado;
● A minimum of six years of elementary teaching;
● A minimum of three years of mentor teaching;
● A minimum of two years facilitating professional development;
● Demonstrated commitment to the mission and vision
The salary range is $75,000-$85,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package including a $400 monthly contribution to health insurance and fully covered dental and vision insurance. Staff receive (5) days of Vacation and (6) days of Sick annually. Academy 360 is a FAMLI+ employer, offering paid leave benefits.
