REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related �ield
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of one year professionally responsible experience
Demonstrates and/or develops skills to effectively operate a computer and experience with automated
record- keeping systems.
D emonstrated ability to assist in preparation of budgets, payroll, and bene�its enrollment
Knowledge of MUNIS
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the effective and ef�icient operation of Warren County Public Schools Board of Education �inancial
m atters pertaining to employee bene�its and payroll.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES & EVALUATION CRITERIA
Perform accounting duties in the maintenance of assigned accounts
Perform responsible record-keeping duties with a high degree of skill and accuracy
Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies, procedures and governmental regulations as they relate
to employee bene�its, workers compensation, and student insurance.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of the employee bene�its program, workers compensation, and
student insurance.
Coordinate enrollment for employee bene�its and act as liaison between District and bene�its providers.
Assist employees and/or district facilities with bene�its enrollment, workers compensation, and student
insurance forms.
M aintains and documents a clear audit trail for all noti�ications as they relate to the termination of employment,
including retirement.
Accumulate, calculate, post, balance, and reconcile data for bene�its with the responsibility to identify, trace, and
otherwise resolve discrepancies in accordance with procedures.
Provide training and guidance to others assisting with bene�its related work tasks.
Prepare various bene�its reports and reconcile statements.
Collaborates with other �inance personnel to maintain all information related to bene�its and to provide reports
in a timely manner.
Complete a minimum of fourteen (14) hours of continuing education training every two (2) years.
Assist Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources in all assigned areas of bene�its.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources or Superintendent
