Restoration Supervisor
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
Job description:
SERVPRO Team Skov is growing its Rochester team and hiring an experienced Restoration Supervisor to help lead our crew. Paid IICRC certification support, a clear path toward Project Manager, and first-year total compensation typically reaching $59,000 or more.
About This Role:
SERVPRO Team Skov is a locally owned franchise operating six offices across New York, Connecticut, and Maryland. Our East Rochester office serves Monroe County and surrounding communities, from Greece to Pittsford and beyond, responding to property damage emergencies across the region.
As a Restoration Supervisor, you will perform the same hands-on mitigation work as our technicians (water extraction, fire and smoke cleanup, mold remediation, post-loss restoration) while also completing insurance documentation and moisture inspections, managing customer expectations on site under Project Manager oversight, and maintaining assigned company vehicles, equipment, and the warehouse.
Your Career Path:
This role sits above our entry-level technician tiers and reports to the Project Manager track. Certifications and demonstrated performance drive advancement.
Project Manager tier (Year 2 to 4):
- Project Manager I: $30.50/hr (multi-crew oversight)
- Project Manager II: $80,000 salaried (location-level responsibility)
All required certifications are company-paid. Many of our current Project Managers began as technicians or supervisors.
Who We Are Looking For:
Rochester has a strong manufacturing, warehousing, and skilled trades base, and we're looking for someone with at least two years of restoration, mitigation, or closely related trade experience who is ready to take on documentation and customer-facing responsibility. IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, or similar) are preferred.
Required qualifications:
- Valid driver's license, comfortable driving company work vans
- At least 2 years of experience in restoration, water mitigation, or a related trade
- IICRC certification(s) preferred
- Comfort with physical, hands-on work throughout the day
- Availability for the shared on-call rotation (compensated at $25 per dispatched job)
- Dependability and consistent attendance
- Comfortable handling job documentation and direct customer communication
What You Will Earn:
- Base pay $24.00–$26.00/hr, based on experience and certifications
- Overtime available regularly (approximately 6–12 hours per week on average)
- On-call compensation: $25 per dispatched job, with a $50 minimum per shift
- Google Review bonus: $35 per review, $45 with photos
- Commercial Travel bonus: $5 to $12 per hour worked, paid at project completion for out-of-town commercial large loss claims (Supervisors typically fall on the lower-to-mid end of this range; the higher end applies to Project Manager-level assignments)
- Health and dental insurance
- 401(k) with company matching
- Two weeks paid vacation plus paid sick leave
- Employee referral bonus: $300 per successful hire, paid at six-month tenure
- All required training and IICRC certifications funded by the company
What to Expect:
- Hands-on work in residential and commercial properties: basements, attics, mechanical rooms, and a range of restoration environments. Full PPE, training, and equipment are provided.
- Direct responsibility for job documentation, moisture inspections, and communicating with customers on site, with Project Manager oversight available throughout.
- Participation in our shared on-call rotation, compensated per dispatched job.
- Maintaining assigned vehicles, equipment, and warehouse organization.
- Direct involvement in helping customers recover from property damage emergencies.
