Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Assembler / Shop Helper to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Rogers, MN. This hands-on role involves assembling steel components, supporting shop operations, and assisting various departments as needed.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable manufacturing experience while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Production
- Assemble steel parts using hand tools and shop equipment
- Follow work instructions and production specifications to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and workmanship
Shop Support
- Assist operations across multiple departments within the shop
- Support material movement, staging, and organization as needed
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist with various production tasks
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all company safety procedures and shop policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly use tools and equipment while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
- Experience working with hand tools and shop equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production environments
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing and fabrication environment with exposure to machinery and shop equipment
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Fast-paced and physically demanding work environment
- Overtime may be required based on production demands
