We are seeking a motivated Community Outreach and Client Marketing Specialist to expand awareness of our services, develop professional referral relationships, and generate qualified inquiries from families seeking ABA services.
This is not primarily a social media content position. The successful candidate will be comfortable building relationships, visiting community organizations, attending local events, conducting direct outreach, and tracking measurable marketing results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain referral relationships with pediatricians, autism diagnostic providers, preschools, childcare centers, speech and occupational therapy practices, schools, family organizations, and other community partners.
- Conduct outreach through telephone calls, email, in-person visits, professional networking, and community events.
- Educate referral partners about Pair with ABA’s center-based programs, service model, intake process, accepted funding sources, and current availability.
- Identify local events, organizations, and partnership opportunities that could increase awareness among families of young children.
- Represent Pair with ABA at community events, resource fairs, professional meetings, and family-focused activities.
- Distribute approved informational and marketing materials throughout the South Jersey community.
- Help coordinate local digital marketing, email campaigns, social media outreach, and community announcements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to prospective referral partners and interested families.
- Coordinate warm handoffs of prospective clients to the Pair with ABA intake team.
- Maintain an organized outreach tracker documenting contacts, meetings, follow-ups, referral sources, inquiries, and campaign results.
- Provide a concise weekly report describing completed outreach, new relationships, leads generated, upcoming events, and recommended next steps.
- Protect family privacy and comply with HIPAA, company policies, and healthcare marketing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, community outreach, referral development, pediatric services, behavioral health, education, or a related field.
- Experience developing relationships with healthcare providers, childcare programs, schools, therapists, or community organizations.
- Existing professional relationships within Camden, Burlington, or Gloucester County are strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, telephone, email, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations and conducting in-person outreach independently.
- Ability to explain services clearly without providing unauthorized clinical or insurance guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and experience tracking outreach activities and results.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, social media, or customer relationship management systems.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout South Jersey.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, psychology, education, or a related field is preferred but not required when the candidate has directly relevant experience.

Success will be measured through documented outreach activity and sustainable referral-pipeline growth, including:
- New professional referral relationships established
- Meetings and presentations completed
- Community events identified and attended
- Qualified family inquiries generated
- Consistent follow-up with referral partners
- Accurate tracking of referral sources and marketing results
- Increased community awareness of Pair with ABA

Occasional evening or weekend events may be available.
