Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Able to communicate effectively (read, write, verbal) with supervisor, coworkers, residents, and families
- Perform housekeeping functions in accordance with daily work assignments and established policies and procedures
- Performs laundry Duties.
- Delivers soiled linens to laundry; sorts, washes, dries, folds and returns clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
- Cleans laundry room, sorting and soiled linen tubs.
- Clean/dust resident rooms, bathrooms, wastebaskets, common areas, kitchens, etc. using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
- Follow standards and practices for use of specific chemicals and emergency procedures
- Perform proper cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area as well as clean any vacant rooms as directed
- Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies are maintained in utility/janitorial closets/housekeeping carts and are kept clean and orderly
Physical Demands:
- Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, stretching and moving intermittently throughout the facility
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry 10 pounds, occasionally lift and transfer up to 30 pounds, regularly push wheeled cart exerting 40 pounds lateral force and support 50 pounds for brief duration

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
