About the Position:
The Academic Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining the excellence of iLEARN Education’s academic programs. This position combines educational expertise, curriculum development, and program evaluation, with a strong foundation in teaching English Language Arts (ELA) and curriculum development. The Academic Coordinator collaborates with instructors and staff to ensure curriculum quality, effective instruction, and positive communication with parents and students. Working closely with the Academic Director, this role helps drive consistency, quality, and innovation across all programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Modification: Support the development and ongoing refinement of course materials, ensuring they meet educational goals and maintain consistency
- Collaborate with Staff: Partner with staff to ensure all course materials are high-quality, effective, and align with iLEARN Education’s standards
- Class Monitoring and Quality Control: Observe classes to uphold instructional quality and provide instructors with constructive feedback
- Teacher Meetings and Coordination: Organize and lead regular staff meetings to communicate curriculum updates, address challenges, and share best practices
- Customer Service and Parent Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for parents, using excellent customer service skills to provide student progress updates, answer questions, and address any concerns
- Student Placement and Progress Tracking: Work with instructors to assess and place students in appropriate programs, making adjustments as needed to support individual growth
- Class Schedule and Coordination: Manage the course schedule and communicate any changes to students, parents, and staff
- Data Management: Track enrollment, attendance, and feedback data, using insights to recommend program improvements
- Onboarding and Training: Assist with onboarding new instructors and provide training to maintain instructional consistency
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
- Minimum 1 year in a formal teaching role (excluding substitute teaching) with a focus in teaching English Language Arts (ELA)
- Minimum 1 year of creating and developing lesson plans or curriculum materials
- Available to work weekday evenings and Saturdays

- Compensation ranges from $20- $24 an hour depending on experience and qualifications
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
