About the Role
InfoTech is seeking an experienced Program Management Support Specialist who will provide comprehensive program, project, logistics, and financial management support for U.S. Navy acquisition and sustainment programs. This position serves as a key member of the Program Management Office (PMO), coordinating with Government and contractor stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex hardware and software installations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in technical project management, procurement, asset tracking, and data management within a Department of War (DoW) environment.
As part of a collaborative team supporting the Navy's next generation of warfighting capabilities, you will work closely with government leaders, Fleet Readiness Directorates, Program Offices, engineers, trainers, and industry partners to plan and sustain complex acquisition and fielding efforts. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established government processes.
What You’ll Do
Program and Project Management Support
· Provide day-to-day program management support for multiple acquisition, modernization, and installation efforts.
· Coordinate activities between Program Management Warfare (PMW) offices, Systems Support Activities (SSA), In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), Fleet stakeholders, and contractor teams.
· Serve as a primary liaison to facilitate communication, resolve technical and programmatic issues, and ensure alignment of responsibilities among stakeholders.
· Plan, coordinate, and facilitate recurring program meetings, including Production Meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, and technical working groups.
· Monitor project schedules, milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful execution of program objectives.
· Track installation progress and provide timely updates to Government leadership.
Assets, Configuration, and Logistics Management
· Manage the complete lifecycle of hardware and software assets from procurement through installation, sustainment, and closeout.
· Maintain detailed inventory tracking for communications equipment, modernization kits, terminals, antennas, software releases, and associated components.
· Utilize Government tracking systems and databases such as CMPro, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, Link 16 RT Tracker, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other approved tools to maintain accurate historical records.
· Coordinate procurement activities, monitor supplier lead times, track purchase requests and delivery schedules, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize schedule impacts.
· Support installation planning activities, Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), System Operational Verification Testing (SOVT), and hardware/software fielding efforts.
· Ensure inventory accountability and data accuracy across multiple installations and program locations.
Financial and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Support
· Provide program financial management support including development of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, Bills of Material (BOM), procurement estimates, and labor cost projections.
· Prepare and manage Procurement and Labor 7300 documentation.
· Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case execution by coordinating with FMS Case Managers and maintaining accurate program documentation.
· Provide input for Program Objective Estimate (POE), Spend Plans, budget planning, and financial reporting.
· Monitor funding execution and assist with tracking procurement expenditures.
Information and Data Management
· Develop, maintain, and manage program documentation within Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaborative environments.
· Control document access, maintain version control, and ensure data integrity across program repositories.
· Coordinate documentation routing through the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO), ensuring proper classification markings and release procedures are followed.
· Track and manage Action Items (AIs), Letters of Intended Technical Response (LITRs), correspondence, and program documentation.
Reporting and Executive Support
· Develop executive-level briefings, dashboards, reports, and status updates for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Program Assessment Reviews (PARMs), and customer meetings.
· Present program status, logistics updates, procurement activities, financial data, and installation progress to Government leadership and stakeholders.
· Analyze program metrics and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making.
· Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports supporting program execution.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
· Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Department of War (DoW), U.S. Navy, or Federal Government acquisition or program management efforts.
· Experience supporting Program Management Offices (PMOs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), or complex technical programs.
· Knowledge of hardware and software lifecycle management, procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
· Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs is highly desirable.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and data tracking systems.
· Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
· Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Required Qualifications
· Experience supporting NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, PMW programs, and other Navy acquisition organizations.
· Familiarity with Link 16 systems, tactical communications equipment, or C4ISR programs.
· Experience with CMPro or comparable configuration management systems.
· Knowledge of Government procurement processes and supply chain management.
· Experience developing executive briefings and financial reporting.
· Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA, or equivalent program management certification preferred.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
