Looking for an upbeat, fast pace kitchen job with an awesome hard working team? Our prep cook position might be the perfect fit for you! The Wine House is a beer and wine bar located in Carmel Valley Village and we are looking to hire a FULL TIME prep cook. Our kitchen team is small but mighty and we need someone we can count on who thrives and enjoys being in a kitchen.
Required Hours:
Wednesday & Thursday 1-8pm
Fri & Sat 12-8
Sunday 11-7

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple prep tasks
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food item
Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
