Working Hours: 40 hours weekly M- F Day shift
- Summary: The Nurse Reviewer is responsible for conducting initial phone based screenings of potential clinical trial participants. This role requires clinical judgment to evaluate medical histories, current medications, and inclusion/exclusion criteria to determine a candidate's eligibility for specific research studies. The LPN will serve as the primary point of contact for initial subject assessment, ensuring high quality data collection and adherence to protocol specific requirements.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Phone Screening: Conduct comprehensive interviews via phone with potential subjects to assess health status and study eligibility.
- Medical Review: Evaluate medical records, diagnostic results, and medication lists against clinical trial protocols.
- Clinical Decision Making: Utilize clinical knowledge to make preliminary determinations on whether a candidate meets the requirements for study enrollment.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, timely, and compliant documentation of all screening activities within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
- Protocol Adherence: Maintain up to date knowledge of multiple active study protocols to ensure accurate screening.
- Communication: Clearly explain study requirements to potential participants and coordinate with the clinical team for secondary in person evaluations.
Other information:
- Current LPN license in good standing (either AR license or multi-state license to include AR), required
- CPR certification required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent if working in the lab
- Previous clinical experience preferred
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
