**Overview:**
We are seeking a meticulous Sterilization Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment within a healthcare setting.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform sterilization of medical and dental instruments using autoclaves and other equipment
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes
- Monitor and track inventory of sterile supplies
- Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of treatment rooms
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper instrument sterilization
**Experience:**
- Familiarity with sterilization systems and equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Experience with medical imaging equipment is a plus
- Strong grasp of infection control practices
- Basic anatomy knowledge is beneficial
- Previous experience in dental or medical assisting roles is preferred
