Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care for an assisted living community. Your expertise will help ensure patients receive safe, effective, and personalized care while supporting their physical and emotional well-being.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual needs.
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols.
- Manage patient documentation including the MAR.
- Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care needs, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Oversee and train Nursing Assistants.
- Share on call nights with the R.N. and duties.
Skills
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and infection control standards.
- Proficiency manual medical documentation.
- Excellent patient assessment skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
