We're looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator at a Jacobs office, or capable of working remote who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business . As a Senior BIM Coordinator in the LSS D epartment, you are responsible for supporting both the department needs for BIM content organization and processes along with project execution . This is a 25/75% split between department support and project support. For the department you will be expected to maintain our library of Revit support content, maintain o u r Bluebeam toolbox, document department BIM and markup standards and provid e training to the department staff. For projects, you will be assisting the project team in providing department resources for a new project, adapting our standard BIM and markup processes for a project and provide training to new project staff on our standard BIM protocols. As the department BIM Coordinator you will be working with the LSS project BIM Lead to assist them in project setup, review and audits. In this role you may support multiple projects .
This position provides an opportunity to grow your knowledge of the Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks design software platforms as well as expanding you r general understanding of the LSS design industry. Using these software platforms you will support the creation of fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines ( C,S , A,M , E,P , T,I ,L) as well as 2D construction drawings. This is all accomplished in coordination with other designers, discipline leads, architects and engineers who are all under one Jacobs “roof ”. Using the Jacobs design methods in conjunction with your keen eye for detail and established BIM skills, you will be part of our LSS design team core working to turn the design intent of our senior team members into constructable deliverables with including clash-free 3D models.

Here's what you'll need
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum10 years of BIM design experience
Minimum 5 years of relev ant experience in Electrical/Telecom/LSS design a nd construction industry
Very good organizational skills
Very good communication and leadership skills.
Analytical thinking skills
Experience following client design and modeling standards
HighproficiencywithBluebeam
Proficient with Navisworks
Ability to estimate hoursrequiredfor modeling efforts based onbuilding size.
Willingness to learn new things

Ideally, you’ll also have:
10 years of Revit and 3 years AutoCAD design experience
Understanding of industrial type facilities
Experience mentoring fellow BIM design staff

The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $120,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
