Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery driver & Appliance Installation person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations installing at customer's home while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of products. The Delivery Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using a pallet jack and manual lifting techniques.
- Instalation knowledge of appliances
- Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle used for deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Installation knowledge of all major appliances.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is beneficial.
- Experience operating vehicles with manual transmission is a plus.
- Strong physical ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
