Responsibilities:
- Develops pertinent, measurable objective that provide a focus for student learning.

Research literature reflecting current theory and standards of nursing practice to update course content.

Designs learning experiences which enable achievement of course, level, and school objectives.

Formulates evaluation tools that measure the attainment of course objectives.

Develops a course using established curriculum development methodology.

Utilizes effective communication skills when guiding student learning experiences, working with faculty colleagues, and the healthcare team.

Participates in the formative and summative evaluation of individual students.

Demonstrates a good working relationship with faculty colleagues, support personnel, students, and the healthcare team.

Implements a variety of teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of students as well as the course objectives.

Participates in curriculum development and ongoing program evaluation and revision according to the program's Systematic Evaluation Plan.

Performs ongoing assessment of student learning needs in the classroom and clinical learning environments.

Promotes an environment conducive to student learning.

Effectively implements the RN educator/faculty role.

Master's Degree or BSN and currently enrolled in an MSN program

Faculty are full-time for 42 weeks of the academic year at Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences.
10 weeks off over the summer months.
Additional built-in days off during school year. No weekends, No holidays.
Full-time benefits offered through Tower Health, which start on the first of the month following your start date.
Paid throughout the year, 26 paychecks a year.
