We are currently seeking full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT 6pm-6am
FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT 6pm-6am
Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
Assists resident with or performs activities of daily living for resident in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures.
Assists resident with transferring, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
Delivers nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and provides assistance as necessary to ensure intake. Documents intake accordingly.
Assists with weighing residents according to facility policy, and records weight in designated locations. Reports weight changes to nurse and supervisor.
Assists with tracking the condition of the resident’s skin. Reports any presence of pressure areas, skin breakdown or skin tears to nurse and supervisor.
Assists nursing staff in carrying out toileting program activities.
Completes documentation to indicate that the specified task was done. Documents the progress of each resident as directed by supervisor.
Reports changes in a resident’s condition to the resident’s nurse and supervisor.
Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential support in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Your core skills in basic life support, patient service, and medical documentation will be vital in assisting with care plans and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. With premium experience in long-term care, you will contribute to the well-being of patients, including those with Alzheimer's. Your relevant skills in EMR systems and will enhance the efficiency of our healthcare team, making a positive impact on patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Experience in patient care and service
- Ability to develop and implement care plans
- Supervisory experience in healthcare settings
- Familiarity with medical documentation and terminology
