Since its inception in 1987, Solid Surface Craftsman, Inc. (SSC) has been driven to provide the best quality products to the commercial and residential millwork market.
Our 50,000 sq. ft. facility, located in Glenville, New York houses our cabinetry and counter-top divisions. All our cabinets are hand crafted using quality hardwoods and materials. Our finishing facility is one of the leaders in the northeast specializing in custom colorization.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
· Set up the saw machine, adjust for each job
· Operate saw machine and observe for any defects or issues
· Communicate with managers the status of jobs in progress
· Use of measurement tools to ensure accuracy
· Help pack and transport finished pieces
· Accurately complete paperwork
· Keep a clean and safe workspace
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· Experience operating a saw (1-3 years preferred)
· Forklift experience a plus
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
· Attention to detail
· Be able to work in workshop environment
· Be able to stay in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Pay:
- Rate based upon qualifications and experience
