Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Assist physician in patient examination rooms.
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Coordinate patient appointments and provide exceptional telephone customer service.
- Delivering messages promptly and efficiently.
- Gathering patient demographics, insurance details, and medical history information.
-Assist with patient/physician forms and letters.
- Adhere to medical protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.
