Our Medical Assistants are off to Nursing School this Fall!!

North Wind Primary Care PLLC is looking for 2 full time Medical Assistants to join our team. While experience is a plus, we value strong work ethics, desire to learn, and dependability. We will train the "right fit". Our Assistant will:
- Assist providers and nurses in moving patients through the office
- Obtain EKGs and HbA1c tests among other in-house labs
- Input immunization data
- Enter medication refill requests
- Relay information to patients at request of clinical staff
- Process referrals to specialists
- Complete forms
- Organize and order medical supplies
- Organize and order exam room linens
- Maintain organized inventory of medicine samples delivered to office
- Maintain organized inventory of vaccines logging vaccine refrigerator temperatures
- Ascertain lab equipment is operational
- Keep exam rooms stocked and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Preferences
- High School Diploma/GED
- Medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of drug terminology and prescription requirements is a plus but not required
- Experience with taking and reporting patient vital statistics is a plus but not required
- Experience performing EKGs is a plus but not required
- Experience with EMR Systems, preferably Medent EMR, is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
