Location: Attleboro, MA
Pay: Starting at $18.00+/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Job Summary
We are urgently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Automation Department in Attleboro, MA. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and have experience working with metals and automated production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated production equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setups and basic equipment adjustments
- Work with metals, raw materials, and precision components
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience required
- Experience working with metals, raw materials, steel mills, or precious metals processing preferred
- Machine setup experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of hand and measuring tools
- Basic computer (PC) skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift 35–50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Requirements
- English proficiency required
- Reliable transportation required
- OSHA-approved safety shoes are mandatory
- Must be able to pass a background check if hired
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical demands may vary depending on assignment and client-site requirements.
