The Gateway Region YMCA is looking for enthusiastic individuals for our Before & After School Care positions at our 11 Branches ( CMT IL, Edward Jones, Brentwood, Kirkwood, O'Fallon MO, South City, South County, St. Charles, Granite City IL.) that love working with children to join us for an exciting school year. Before & After School Group Leader
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum of a high school degree and less than 1 year working with children (must meet Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services criteria as a State Certified Director)
Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prefer at least 1 year experience in child care
- Must have strong communication, organization and detail skills
- Must have the ability to relate to children, parents, branch staff members and volunteers
- Must pass CPR/First Aid Certification
Before & After School Support Staff
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum of a high school degree and less than 1 year working with children (must meet Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services criteria as a State Certified Director)

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess at least 1 year experience in child care
- Must have experience working with children
- Must have strong communication, organization and detail skills
- Must have the ability to relate to children, parents, branch staff members and volunteers
- Must pass CPR/First Aid Certification
Before & After School Site Director
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum of 3 college semester hours + 1 year working with children or 24 months experience (must meet Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services criteria as a State Certified Director)
Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess at least 1 + years experience in child care
- Must have experience working with children
- Must have strong communication, organization and detail skills
- Must have the ability to relate to children, parents, branch staff members and volunteers
- Must pass CPR/First Aid Certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
