Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, approve, and oversee NDT methods, procedures, and work instructions (FPI, MPI, EC, UT, RT)
Ensure full compliance with FAA regulations, industry standards, and internal quality systems
Train, certify, and mentor Level I & II NDT personnel; maintain NDT training programs
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to evaluate indications, support root cause analysis, and improve repair processes
Required Skills & Experience
ASNT Level III certification in PT and MT (active and current)
Minimum 5+ years of NDT experience in aviation/aerospace (FAA Part 145 or OEM environment)
Strong knowledge of FAA Part 145, ASTM, NAS, SAE, and related standards
Proven ability to develop procedures, lead teams, and maintain precise documentation
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with multiple NDT methods (UT, RT, EC) on complex aircraft components
Strong troubleshooting skills with NDT equipment and calibration processes
