Reporting to the Compounding Lead, the Compounder is responsible for accurately weighing and/or mixing raw materials according to product specifications

What You’ll Do

Follow all safety guidelines and be an integral part of the safety of the workplace by participating in all safety initiatives.

Wear all appropriate PPE when working with the chemicals and equipment required for weighing and batching.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all products are consistent and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.

Ensure compounds are prepared in accordance to formulation and that all relevant compounding guidelines and quality standards are maintained

Assist with deodorant fill start up time with the Production Team.

Complete all daily lab department tasks.

Ensure efficient startups and shutdown of the compounding tanks.

Record and report defective, damaged, spilled, or otherwise lost materials or finished bulk product.

Complete all documentation for ongoing batches utilizing good documentation practices.

Be able to use, operate, and understand Batchmaster in all our required functions.

Work with the Compounding Lead/Supervisor to find problems and their solutions.
- Perform daily cleaning and inspection checklist of equipment to prevent cross contamination

Report equipment issues and Work with maintenance to identify any malfunctioning or damaged equipment and have it repaired or removed from service.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company and safety standards.

Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet quality standards.

Conduct quality control tests to verify product consistency and integrity

Any additional responsibilities that supervision requires for the success of the department and company.
Requirements
What We Require

High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in a science preferred

Excellent English written and verbal communication
-
Ability to stand for a significant portion of the shift
-
Ability to lift up 50 lbs regularly through the shift.

Must be willing to work overtime and or weekend work as required by management or the production schedule

Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
-
Availability to be onsite daily with reliable attendance during work hours; must be available/reachable during off hours in case of emergency

Consistently meet individual and team goals daily

Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization, maintaining a positive and professional attitude
