POSITION: Quality Manager (Gulf Cable)
POSITION DURATION: Full‐Time
POSITION LOCATION: Milton, FL
This position is accountable for assuring that all finished products manufacturing conform to customer and company quality standards and specifications and for assuring that all of our manufacturing and quality systems conform to customer requirements. This position acts as customer representative for all quality related matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for Quality Assurance, and Quality Systems for Gulf Cable.
· Actively participate with Manufacturing in finding Root Causes and Corrective Actions.
· Should be familiar with Electrical testing of Medium Voltage and High Voltage Cables.
· Manage a staff of 6-8 Quality Assurance technicians for 24/7 Operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· 2 year engineering degree required.
· 7-10 years' experience in a similar field/position
· Cable or Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.
· Demonstrate strong organization skills, working well under pressure, and the ability to prioritize and multitask with high attention to detail
· A strong team member that is enthusiastic about achieving team objectives.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to perform day to day duties and activities.
