American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift contract at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Maryland.

Acute care hospital setting, Level II Trauma Center with 360 staffed beds
-
CT Scan unit serving adult acute care, emergency department, ICU, and pediatric acute care patient populations
-
High-volume position with a daily caseload of 80–90 scans per tech over a 24-hour period
-
Procedures include abdomen and pelvis CT, chest CT, head and neck CT, spine and musculoskeletal CT, brain perfusion, myelography, vascular CTA, biopsies, aspirations, and drainage
-
Preferred procedures include coronary CTA, heart imaging (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, and PICU experience

Equipment includes GE and Siemens scanners and PACS
-
Charting system is McKesson (required) and Cerner
-
Schedule is Friday 12:00 PM–12:30 AM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12 night shifts)

No on-call requirement

Floating within the hospital is not required

Local candidates are accepted

Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience

Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required

Current BLS certification required
-
Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable

McKesson charting experience required
-
Community hospital experience required
-
Proficiency in preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
-
SSN, DOB, and driver's license required for consideration

Two supervisor references required for consideration

Candidates must be nicotine-free; this is a tobacco-free facility and a positive nicotine screen will result in cancellation

Former employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible

Performs a high volume of CT scans across a broad range of body systems including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal
-
Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT equipment and PACS is expected
-
Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 4–6 hours, completed through WorkDay
-
Navy blue scrubs required

Parking is available in the patient/visitor parking garage at no cost to staff using their badge
