Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Expo Food team members to join our vibrant culinary and service team. As an Expo Food associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of food from the kitchen to our guests’ tables, maintaining high standards of food presentation, safety, and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and hospitality skills in a lively resort environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Plate and garnish dishes according to presentation standards before serving
- Verify order accuracy and communicate special requests or modifications effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station throughout shifts
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and basic cooking tasks as needed
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with team members to uphold exceptional customer service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Kitchen or culinary experience is highly desirable, including food preparation and cooking skills
- Banquet or large-scale event experience is a plus
- Familiarity with bussing, serving, or hospitality roles enhances your fit for this position
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is important
- Hotel or resort experience will be considered an advantage
