Janitorial/Housekeeping Project Manager
JANITORIAL & HOUSEKEEPING
Overall Responsibility
The Janitorial Project Manager is the direct managing supervisor of the Assistant Janitorial Project Manager, Shift Supervisors, Team Leads, and individual crew members.
The Janitorial Project Manager must be a self-starter, have good personal management skills, and must be able to work under minimal supervision. These include time management, follow up, good personal communication skills, and the ability to cross communicate between crew members, Regional Management and client, both verbally and through email.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedules personnel according to the total hours allocated to the facility.
- Inspecting and quality control of all assignments during all working hours.
- Responsible for all “Monthly Safety Topics” training.
- Maintains proper inventory control of supplies and materials needed for the cleaning program.
- Monitors all equipment for good working condition and coordinate repairs with the Corporate Office.
- Conducts interviews, employee orientation, and communicates disciplinary actions with Human Resources.
- Ensures all new hires complete applications, W4s and the I-9 form and submits to Human Resources for approval.
- Responsible for interfacing daily with their Property Management logging all requests with approvals from corporate, walking the facility with Property Operations and/or attending staff meetings, but always maintaining an open
Requirements
- Previous Janitorial Supervisor experience of 4 years or Janitorial site management experience of 1 year
- Driver’s License required
- Must be Bi-lingual in Spanish reading and writing (Fluent/Proficient)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and employee relation skills
- Experienced in managing budgets, labor schedules and asset tracking communication policy.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Pay: $62,400.00 per year
