Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients, focusing on pain management, relaxation, and overall well-being. The Massage Therapist will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Can do room rental or comission.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns and conditions.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support client health goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health practices.
- Familiarity with med spa services is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Understanding of patient assessment processes and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
