Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: Miami FL 33178
Duration: Direct Hire with benefits
Shift: 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm
Payrate: $54,000 to $66,500 with a 5% bonus
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, building systems, and plant utilities in a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID drawings.
- Maintain air compressors, HVAC systems, plumbing, gas systems, vacuum systems, and other plant utilities.
- Install and repair hydraulic systems and related components.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and train operators on basic preventive maintenance.
Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical School diploma or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with industrial electrical systems, machine troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs.
