The Assembly worker plays a critical role in preparing modular automation components for safe, accurate, and damage‑free shipment. Packaging Associates build custom pallets, crate assemblies, and secure aluminum extrusions using a variety of tools and equipment while following strict quality and safety standards.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

Build custom pallets and crates using power tools such as drills, saw‑zalls, nail guns, and dual‑bevel miter saws.
*
Measure and cut wood accurately to create secure packaging solutions for conveyors, extrusions, and assembly kits.
*
Package aluminum extrusions into Reddi‑Crates and prepare kit orders according to customer specifications.
*
Understand and execute specialized packaging requirements, including “white glove” and “west coast” packaging standards.
*
Use strapping tools and strapping machines to secure products safely for transport.
*
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials, load trucks, and stage outbound shipments.
*
Scan products and follow all digital workflow processes to ensure accurate order tracking.
*
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S workplace organization standards.
*
Work efficiently to meet daily packaging deadlines while ensuring high‑quality workmanship.
*
Communicate with management, ask questions when needed, and provide feedback to improve packaging processes.
*
Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE (steel‑toe shoes, uniform), and support a safe working environment.
Requirements
