You ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality sushi and other menu items, ensuring our guests enjoy a consistently excellent dining experience.
What You ll Do
Prepare and plate sushi and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and properly store all ingredients.
Follow food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times.
Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and assist with menu planning.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and specialized sushi tools.
Support catering events with high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Accommodate special dietary needs in collaboration with the dietary department.
What We re Looking For
Previous sushi or similar restaurant experience preferred.
Strong knife skills and expertise in sushi preparation techniques.
Understanding of food safety and proper handling practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Menu planning or catering experience a plus.
