Baptist Primary Care is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Fernandina Beach office. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.
Certified Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance to physicians
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
