Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Domestic Traffic Coordinator to join our team. This vital role involves managing the movement of freight, ensuring seamless coordination between carriers, customers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of supply chain and transportation management systems to optimize logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in domestic shipping and hold DOT HAZMAT Certification, training in IATA, and/or IMDG experience.
Duties may include:
- Coordinate domestic freight shipments by scheduling pickups and deliveries with carriers and customers.
- Manage transportation planning to ensure timely delivery while optimizing routes and costs.
- Prepare bill of ladings and labels for orders to be shipped.
- Process shipped orders for invoicing.
- Create daily reports, schedules, and quotes.
- Route inbound freight.
- Notify appropriate parties of special customer shipping and traffic needs.
- Work with responsible departments concerning invoice discrepancies, shipping quotes, lost/delayed shipments, claims etc.
- Coordinate shipping practice and process throughout entire BG warehousing network; BOL’s, Packing Slips etc.
- Coordinate special shipping request with Customer Service, Shipping Supervisor and affected Facility leadership.
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer of shipper complaints.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
