We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a 3-month temporary assignment. This position requires a strong quality mindset, the ability to independently perform multiple setups per day, and experience operating and setting up CNC lathes in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Candidates with Mazak experience are strongly preferred, and ROMI experience is a plus.
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Previous experience with Mazak CNC lathes preferred.

Experience with ROMI machines is a plus.

Set up and operate CNC lathes, including Okuma and Mazak machines, safely and efficiently.

Perform setup changes and first article inspections during production runs.

Load parts using overhead lifting equipment.

Prove programs, set offsets, perform minor program edits, deburr components, and inspect finished parts.

Monitor machining operations and adjust machine controls as needed to maintain quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements.

Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Maintain knowledge of tooling, fixtures, feeds, speeds, cutting tools, and machining parameters.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform basic preventive maintenance.

Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 3 years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, setup, and operation.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.

Ability to perform multiple setups throughout the day.

Experience with multi-axis CNC lathes preferred.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
