Position Overview
Water Specialties Co. is seeking a dynamic, sales-driven Account Manager to manage and grow our customer accounts. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, handling a mix of inbound inquiries and strategic outbound sales calls. You will be responsible for educating customers on our specialized products and services, building lasting industry relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales and daily outreach goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Account Growth & Sales: Conduct strategic outbound calls to existing and prospective accounts to drive year-over-year revenue growth and meet monthly sales targets.
- Inbound Consultation: Answer incoming customer calls to process orders, troubleshoot issues, and answer technical questions.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Product Expertise: Guide customers through our catalog to help them identify the right products and technical solutions for their specific needs.
- Commitment to Execution: Follow through meticulously on lead times, product deliveries, and requested technical information.
- Industry Presence: Occasionally travel to represent Water Specialties Co. at industry trade shows and networking events.
Position Requirements & Skills
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Plumbing & Backflow Familiarity: Solid foundational knowledge of plumbing systems and backflow prevention.
- Certification Readiness: Ability and willingness to attend, study for, and pass a backflow testing certification class (sponsored by the company).
- Tech Savvy: Strong understanding of modern business systems, including CRM platforms and order tracking software.
Sales & Professional Capabilities:
- Proven Sales Experience: Prior experience in a sales or account management role with a track record of meeting outreach and revenue goals.
- Exceptional Communication: Stellar verbal and written communication skills, backed by strong active listening and troubleshooting abilities.
- Leadership & Training: Experience or capability in the training and development of team members as the department grows.
- Self-Motivated & Organized: Highly organized with the ability to manage your pipeline independently while working in a fully remote environment.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
