Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team in the Hope Mills NC and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on dignity, respect, and compassion.
Schedule: 8pm-4pm
Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support residents with medication reminders, vital signs, and other healthcare tasks.
- Provide professional and compassionate care in the client's home.
- Encourage and promote residents' independence and autonomy.
- Foster a sense of community and social connection among residents.
- Respect and uphold residents' rights and dignity.
- Document care activities and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, mobility, and recreational activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in senior care, caregiving, or a related field.
- Knowledge of medication reminders and vital signs.
- Ability to lift and move residents safely with mobility assistance services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on resident needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR/First Aid is required.
