Dee Dee's Place is seeking experienced, caring, energetic Early Childhood Educators to join our team! We're looking for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education -- not just "watching" children, but truly teaching, engaging, and helping them thrive. This is a full-time assistant teacher position in our infant classroom.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
- Create a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
- Maintain compliance with Maryland child care licensing standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and teammates
- Promote social-emotional growth, curiosity, and independence in every child
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed childcare or preschool program
- Passion for working with children
- Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and health screening
- Not Required but beneficial: Current CDA, 90-hour Early Childhood Certification, or equivalent in Infant/Toddler
