We currently have an opening for a Accident Claims Assistant. This position is responsible for processing motor vehicle accident, incident, cargo and workers compensation claims involving any truck owned or leased to the subsidiaries of Trans-System, Inc.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Intake calls regarding all potential incident, accident, cargo or workers compensation claims.
- Initiate documentation and notification of necessary personnel.
- Interview, investigate and notify drivers, claimants, witnesses, customers, police officers, tow and recovery personnel, and operation personnel.
- Contact Drug and Alcohol Technician for post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
- Complete all fields in IEG screens, document communications, scan and attach all associated claim documentation into IEG claim system, maintain claim diary.
Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, it is preferred individuals have:
- High School Diploma or GED required, and/or some college education.
