We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for my adult client with special needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults requiring specialized assistance. As a Driver for Special Needs Clients, you will be responsible for transporting clients to various destinations while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will help create a supportive environment for every passenger.
Responsibilities
- Transport client to multiple programs both AM & afternoon (Monday-Friday)

- Safely operate your vehicle & maintain a valid clean driving record
- Assist clients in boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing necessary support and encouragement
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation routes
- Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness before each trip
- Maintain accurate documentation of trips, client interactions, and any incidents that occur during transportation
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and respectful environment for all passengers
Skills
- Proven experience in bus driving, commercial driving, or school bus driving with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills in English
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, patient demeanor
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Writing skills for completing reports and documentation accurately

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
