American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Tech with 2+ years of cardiothoracic experience for a 13-week travel contract requiring rotating call, weekends, and holidays.

Work setting is a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) in a hospital environment
-
Cardiothoracic surgical patient population with a 1:1 scrub-to-patient ratio
-
Schedule is days, 3x12-hour shifts (5:00–17:00) with rotating weekends
-
On-call is required on a rotating basis (every other weekend plus one weekday call shift per week)

Must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call

Block scheduling can be accommodated

Meditech EMR experience is preferred but not required for this specialty

Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, CST, and NBSTSA

Minimum 2 years of CVOR/cardiothoracic surgical tech experience required

DOB, SSN, and 2 professional references required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible

Scrub in on cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Local candidates are not accepted; a 65-mile radius rule applies

Flu vaccine is required — no exemptions will be granted

An on-site drug screen may be conducted at the start of the assignment

All BLS and other certifications must be AHA-issued
