Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Research Scientist I with a strong background in Immunology, Virology, and Molecular Biology to support research focused on developing innovative therapies for chronic viral infections, including HBV, HDV, and HSV. Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute laboratory experiments supporting research objectives.
Develop, validate, and perform cell-based, biochemical, immunology, and virology assays.
Construct and propagate mutant viruses.
Evaluate the antiviral activity and EC50 of drug candidates against mutant viruses.
Investigate the mechanism of action of lead compounds in clinical settings.
Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data with clear conclusions.
Troubleshoot technical challenges and recommend effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional scientific teams and participate in project meetings.
Maintain accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory research experience.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
Primary cell isolation and cell culture
ELISA or Luminex assays
RNA and DNA isolation
qPCR
Molecular cloning
Virus production
Immune cell functional assays
Multi-color Flow Cytometry (FACS)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to evaluate data quality and identify inconsistent or unexpected results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
