Duties
Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, and foundational concepts in science and social studies.
Support classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, positive behavior management, and inclusive practices for children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities.
Help supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement at all times.
Implement classroom routines and behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
Assist with the setup and cleanup of classroom materials, educational resources, and learning centers aligned with curriculum development goals.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support each child's individual needs and progress.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, developmental milestones, and behavioral observations to support ongoing assessments.
Skills
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles including preschool teaching methodologies such as Montessori or other developmental frameworks.
Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings; familiarity with classroom experience is essential.
Knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies for children with autism or disabilities.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and literacy education tailored for preschool learners.
Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
Technical proficiency with educational technology tools used for lesson delivery or record-keeping is preferred.

Pay: $28,880.00 - $34,560.00 per year
