Banquet Cook / Kitchen Team Member
Pelister Park The Venue is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our banquet kitchen. If you enjoy cooking, working as part of a team, and taking pride in producing quality food for weddings and special events, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities, including food preparation, cooking, plating, dishwashing, kitchen organization, and event setup and breakdown. No two days are exactly the same.
Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and cooking
- Plating for weddings and special events
- Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Event setup and breakdown
- Receiving and organizing deliveries
- Assisting with kitchen organization and daily operations
- Working as part of a team to ensure successful events
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required
Position Details:
- Part-time (15–30 hours per week)
- Flexible scheduling based on your availability and our event calendar
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Competitive hourly pay
