Job description
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Male Bilingual (Spanish-English) Direct Support Professionals to provide personalized care for children and family assistance services in a variety of settings such as homes and after school programs.
The ideal candidate should be fluent in Spanish and English, have experience working with children and be passionate about helping families and fostering healthy development through meaningful support.
This role is located throughout Rockland County.
SHIFTS AVALABLE:
· Part-time hours
-After school hours availability is required
-This is a fee for service type of position, not a replacement to a job but something you can do on top or as an additional income.
. Flexible scheduling base on family needs
· Monday-Sunday (any time)
Skills and Responsibilities:
· Provide direct care and supervision to children in home, and after- school environments.
. Provides relief from care-giving responsibilities for the family.
· Assist children with daily routines, behavioral support, and social-emotional development.
· Offer tutoring, homework help, and mentoring.
· Promote a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
· Communicate regularly with parents, guardians and teachers and team members
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of service provided
Qualifications:
· Male Applicant Preferred
. Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
. Available to work day time and/or after-school hours (flexible scheduling)
. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
. Must be dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
